The contribution provides an overview of the principles to be used in the
assessment of territorially important infrastructures in territorial systems because
the identification itself opens the future possibility to set the protection parameters
to ensure these necessary services to secure the basic needs of the population,
coordination with other protected interests, and also for the sustainable
development of the territorial system.
