THE ANALYSIS OF TERMINOLOGICALLY PROBLEMATIC CONCEPTS OF CRISIS MANAGEMENT IN THE USA AREA

The article deals with the analysis of the key concepts connected with the crisis
communication in the U.S.A. crisis management sphere. The goal of the paper is to analyze,
translate and to comment those problematic concepts in the context of Czech crisis
management. As a source document has been used the brochure of the SAFECOM (the
American program focusing on public safety communications) from which there have been
selected complicated or unclear concepts that have undergone subsequent analysis. The output
of the paper will be an list of options that can help with the translations of the similar concepts
or words from English to Czech in similar documents from this area. The outputs can also help
those who will work with with similar foreign sources devoted to the problem of crisis
communication in the USA.
