EDUCATION AND TRAINING OF POPULATION IN TERMS OF POPULATION PROTECTION CONCEPTION TILL 2020 WITH A VIEW TO 2030

Abstract

New approaches to population protection will require also the change of the view on a
preventive educational activity and training and education of population. If we want to have
adequately prepared population able to respond properly in case of extraordinary events or
crisis situations, it is necessary to set systematic preparation of the population. This systematic
preparation needs to be supplemented by appropriate projects. The aim is to achieve the
effective and efficient education and training of population, which would be consistent with the
identification and impact of threats. To achieve this objective it is necessary to optimize and
develop this area to be a functioning system across all levels of state and local governments
with greater engagement of experts as well as an actual addressee, i.e. a citizen.
