EDUCATION IN THE FIELD OF SAFETY AND POPULATION PROTECTION

Abstract

The escalation of security threats and risks in the 21st century, the development and
diffusion of new technologies on a global scale, their unknown adverse effects and potential
abuse are the reason for the preparation solutions comprehensively educated experts in
specialized fields. This requires, inter alia, systemic and conceptual approach to the education
of persons engaged in folders population protection system. The paper provides information on
the state of education in civil protection and crisis management in relation to other rapidly
developing scientific disciplines and interdisciplinary solutions in the study programme of
Population Protection, accredited by the Faculty of Logistics and Crisis Management TBU.
Describes how the graduate profile, as well as information and software security of this study
programme.
