PROTECTION OF THE POPULATION – PLANNING AND PROVISION OF EVACUATION

Abstract

Article discusses about selected issues related to planning and ensuring the evacuation
from the territory in which they can act consequences of the accident stationary source of
hazardous substances or other emergencies. The main person directing an evacuation is the
municipal mayor or mayor of cities, which relies on its expert advisory body - evacuation
commission. Deals with procedures for planning and ensuring evacuation of the population,
including the segmentation of the evacuated population into various groups, tasks of evacuation
equipment, ways of protect the population and the evacuation of the population. Next, deals
with importance of the control activities by the authorities of crisis management in relation to
planning and carrying evacuation.
