OPTIMIZATION OF EVACUATION ROUTES FOR DEPLOYMENT OF ROAD TRANSPORT VEHICLES

Abstract

In the case of extraordinary events beginning, the crisis management authorities must
ensure the safe and rapid evacuation of persons at risk by an emergency event from vulnerable
areas to a safe area. In evacuation planning, it is particularly necessary to address transport
security evacuation issues, which it including the planning, preparation and transport of
evacuees, animals and things outside the threatened territory. Within the frame of planning is
besides the transportation technology appropriate evacuation routes are also considered and
their minimized. The article is pointing out the possibility of application the Ford-Fulkerson
algorithm and Dantzig algorithm to optimize evacuation routes.
