Sulphur hexafluoride, carbon dioxide, penetration, the foreign protective masksAbstract
The aim of this article is to assess whether the measured penetration of sulphur
hexafluoride into the inner part of a protective mask and the content of carbon dioxide in the
inhaled air are related; respectively to find the connection between those values.
Thirteen foreign protective masks made by either European or American companies,
which are available on the Czech market, were used for the testing, namely Promask, M-98,
Sari Sil, VISION, Venus, Advantage, Ultra Elite, 3S, Panorama Nova RA, FPS 7000, 6000,
54100 and SR-200
