Abstract

Article entitled "Trends in the current U.S. foreign and security policy" is
devoted to a brief analysis of the contemporary position of the United States in the world
and it evaluates specific approaches of the U.S. towards selected security problems.
The text has no ambition to be the exhaustive and everything involving analysis,
but it rather focuses on selected interesting and according the author's opinion,
significant trends or factors that are important for the better understanding the U.S.
foreign policy or which are relevant in terms of its next development and direction
