The central topic of the present study is the issue of crowded places
(places of mass gathering), as a relatively vulnerable places (hot-spots) in many of
the modern agglomerations, that may attract, for example, the attention of
terrorist. The author's approach aims to transfer and subsequent application of
foreign concepts (mostly from the United Kingdom) in the Czech Republic.
