Air sampling, gas chromatograph with mass detectorAbstract
For the purposes of identification of hazardous substances in the
atmosphere a conventional analytical method consisting in a capture on adsorption
tube Tenax and subsequent analysis of thermo desorption device of gas
chromatograph with mass detector has been studied. In order to achieve maximum
sensitivity, an optimization of the air sampling process with devices has been
performed (those devices are available at some units of Fire Rescue Services).
A possibility of semi-quantitative determination of identified substances has also
been evaluated.
