The aim of the article is a description of the Foreign Development Cooperation of the
Czech Republic with the Republic of Moldova with a focus on security. The subject matter of
development cooperation is reflected on the basis of options and direction of the current foreign
policy of the Czech Republic, with the aim to eradicate poverty and promote security and
prosperity through effective partnership. Separately it deals with territorial development
cooperation of the Czech Republic in Moldova with a concrete example of a project "Technical
assistance for education in the field of safety in Moldova"
