Abstract

The aim of the article is to analyze the use of forces and means of the Czech Republic
Army in favor of the population in the period 2014-2018. The analysis did not only relate to the
frequency of use, but also to types of events in which the forces and resources were used during
the period. The article provides a simplified procedure for requiring military means and forces
and describes basic legislation dealing with the given issue and forms of individual assistance
that the Czech Army can do for the benefit of the population.
