DANGEROUS SHIPMENTS

Abstract

The content of the article is the analysis of suspicious shipments within the Czech Post
s.e. (hereinafter referred to as CP) in the period of 2014-2020, when the employees of the
transport company discovered the suspicious shipments that could contain the substances
prohibited to be transported according to the postal conditions and could therefore endanger
lives and health of persons. As a part of the analysis, in the six-year period it was recorded and
evaluated where the shipment was detected and for what reason, which component evaluated
the danger of its content and what substance was transported in the shipment. It was also
evaluated whether it is a truly dangerous shipment that has the potential to endanger the lives
and health of persons.
