PROPERTIES OF THE PROTECTIVE MEANS USED IN THE CIVIL PROTECTION OF THE CZECH REPUBLIC

Attestation which aimed to test quality of the means of individual
protection used in the Czech Republic was performed. Hydrogen cyanide,
chloropicrin and phosgene were used as testing materials in order to assess
protective properties of the filters. Equipment for protecting breathing organs and
body surface were examined for tensile strength, tearing and resistibility against
abrasion and yperite penetration. Diffused filters of child's bags were also tested
for sarin penetration
