DETERMINE THE SOURCE OF IGNITION DURING FIREINVESTIGATION

Abstract

The paper deals with the issue of determining the ignition source. It is
difficult to determine the cause of the fire. The fire scene is damaged by effect of
explosion, fire and intervention by fire units. It is necessary to define a point of
origin / an area of origin, combustible material that began to burn first, and a
source of ignition. The paper provides an overview of ignition sources by CSN EN
1127-1 ed.2. The final section provides a procedure for determining the ignition
source in relation to the cause of fire
